Camillians in ARMC

The Amang Rodriguez Medical Center is a health facility with a 150-bed capacity that also serves as a research and training venue for health practitioners.  Located on Sumulong Highway, it services a population of approximately 2,600,353 in Marikina, Antipolo, part of Pasig, Cainta, San Mateo and Rodriguez in Rizal.

The Philippine Province considers ARMC as one of the effective training grounds where their formands can deepen their commitment in serving our sick sisters and brothers. For many years now, college seminarians, postulants, novices and scholastics have been assigned there for their weekday and Sunday apostolate. In their apostolate, they visit, listen and journey with the patients and their relatives as they face their present health situation. Each encounter with the patients gives the Camillian formands a chance to deepen their vocation and their commitment to their future ministry. Not only that, even some of our formators and  religious visit the Medical Center to celebrate the Holy Eucharist with the patients and their relatives and to facilitate the recollection of the hospital personnel for their spiritual nourishment.

The strengthened bonding between the Camillians and ARMC administration, staff and personnel make for a holistic service to the poor-sick.
