Conference with Fr. Ivo

On March 20, 2009, the members of the Camillian Family of Davao, Inc. (CFDI) enjoyed the rare opportunity to have a conference with Fr. Ivo Z. Anselmi, MI, the Provincial Superior of the Philippine Province, during his pastoral visit to the Camillian Community in Davao. It was really a very fruitful and enlightening meeting. Many salient issues and queries were answered, clarified and understood.  Thank you very much, Fr. Ivo!

Seminar on Camillianity

On March 27, 2009, CFDI had a seminar on Camillianity as part of the family’s formation. Fr. Bong, MI, Spiritual Assistant of the Lay Camillian Family of the Philippines, facilitated the session held at the Mahogany Conference Room of DMC.  A good number of CFDI members participated in the seminar, which lasted the whole morning. They found Fr. Bong’s sharing on the life of St. Camillus very enriching. They realized that the session was not enough and that they must still undergo many formation sessions before they can become committed Lay Camillian Family members.

General Assembly

The General Assembly followed in the afternoon. The formulation of the CFDI vision and mission statements took place.  We formed different committees to take care of the different CFDI concerns.  The day ended with a holy mass in the chapel presided over by Fr. Bong.
