A life-changing Announcement
May 6, 2009 was a memorable day for four postulants (Albert Silos, Charito Borra, Seo Jung Ju, and Henry Angupa) because Fr. Gabby, the superior, announced to the community that they were recommended for the novitiate. Memorable, because for almost four months of journey amidst many temptations, pains and challenges they were able to persevere. The hardships and trials make them strong and their motivation firm as they continue their journey.

Had a great retreat at Tagaytay. Fr. Rudy Fernandez, S.J. (not the actor) was able to bring Jesus down to a human level. I could have listened to him talk all day.
By the way, if anyone has tapes of his talks or notes, sure would like a copy.
Thanks Fr. Rudy for your insights into life and Jesus. May God give you many more leftovers.

The Sower throws the seeds in Pakistan!!!
After two years of anticipation and active-waiting, I went to visit my family in Pakistan. Surely they were very happy just as I was/am happy to see them.
I got to see so many people; former friends, priests, religious and other well-wishers. I attended a Diocesan gathering for a Lenten recollection. It was a nice experience. I met Bishop Joseph Coutts, the Bishop of Faisalabad, Pakistan. He made a special mention of St. Camillus, the Camillians and of our ministry to the sick. It was, indeed, amazing for them to see a man wearing a big red cross on the chest. Indeed, it was an eye-opener for them to know that there are ‘others’ as well. They came to know about the Camillians.
